Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive EHS programs aligned with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action implementation
- Conduct regular facility audits and risk assessments for hazardous materials and industrial processes
- Oversee regulatory reporting, permitting, and compliance documentation for air/waste/water management
- Deliver engaging safety training programs and promote a proactive safety culture
- Manage hazardous waste disposal, spill response protocols, and emergency preparedness plans
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS principles into operational workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or related field
- 8+ years of progressive EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
- OSHA 501 certification and Certified Safety Professional (CSP) designation preferred
- Advanced knowledge of federal/state environmental regulations (EPA, TCEQ) and safety standards
- Proven experience developing EHS management systems and KPI tracking frameworks
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Exceptional communication skills for training, reporting, and stakeholder engagement
- Proficiency in EHS software (e.g., Intelex, Enablon) and Microsoft Office Suite
