Responsibilities
- Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and training programs
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements
- Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis
- Manage environmental programs including waste reduction and sustainability initiatives
- Coordinate emergency response plans and conduct drills
- Maintain accurate EHS documentation and reporting
- Mentor and train staff on safety best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of EHS management experience in manufacturing
- OSHA certification (e.g., CSP, CHST) required
- Strong knowledge of EPA regulations and environmental permitting
- Proven experience developing and implementing safety management systems
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Proficient in EHS software and data analysis tools
- Ability to travel up to 20% for site visits and training
