Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS management systems compliant with OSHA, EPA, and local regulations
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action implementation
- Conduct regular facility audits and safety inspections across industrial operations
- Design and deliver engaging EHS training programs for all employee levels
- Manage hazardous waste disposal, air emissions monitoring, and environmental reporting
- Coordinate emergency response plans and conduct tabletop/drill exercises
- Stay current with evolving environmental regulations and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 7 years of EHS management experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
- OSHA 30-hour certification and CSP/CHRM credentials preferred
- Proven track record of reducing incident rates and regulatory violations
- Advanced knowledge of EPA, TCEQ, and DOT regulations
- Strong data analysis skills with experience in EHS software (e.g., Enablon, Intelex)
- Exceptional communication skills for training diverse workforces and regulatory reporting
