Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action implementation
- Oversee hazardous waste management, air/water quality monitoring, and sustainability reporting
- Design and deliver engaging safety training programs for 500+ employees across 12 facilities
- Manage environmental compliance audits and maintain meticulous regulatory documentation
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using leading/lagging EHS metrics
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS into operational workflows
- Represent the company in regulatory consultations and industry EHS forums
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or related field
- 10+ years progressive EHS experience in industrial/manufacturing environments
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional) and/or CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager) credentials
- Proven expertise in OSHA VPP, EPA RCRA, and TCEQ compliance frameworks
- Advanced proficiency with EHS software (e.g., Enablon, Intelex, or similar platforms)
- Demonstrated success in developing ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems
- Strong data analysis skills with experience developing EHS KPI dashboards
- Exceptional communication abilities with experience training diverse workforces
