As EHS Manager, you'll develop and implement comprehensive programs ensuring regulatory compliance (OSHA, EPA, TCEQ), conduct risk assessments, and lead emergency response initiatives. Your expertise will directly influence our sustainability goals while protecting our team and community.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enforce EHS policies aligned with ISO 14001 and OSHA VPP standards
- Conduct facility audits, incident investigations, and root cause analyses
- Manage hazardous waste disposal, air quality permits, and environmental reporting
- Design and deliver safety training programs for 200+ employees
- Oversee ergonomic assessments and PPE program implementation
- Lead emergency response drills and crisis management protocols
- Collaborate with leadership to integrate EHS into strategic planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years progressive EHS experience in manufacturing/energy sector
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager) certification
- Expertise in OSHA regulations, EPA compliance, and TCEQ permitting
- Proven track record implementing successful safety management systems
- Advanced data analysis skills using EHS software (e.g., Enablon, Intelex)
- Strong leadership experience with cross-functional teams
