Responsibilities
- Develop and implement robust EHS management systems ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local regulations
- Conduct regular facility audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations to identify hazards
- Lead emergency response planning and crisis management initiatives
- Design and deliver comprehensive safety training programs for 500+ employees
- Oversee environmental compliance programs including waste management and emissions control
- Manage EHS reporting and documentation for internal/external stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using KPIs and performance metrics
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years of progressive EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) preferred
- Deep expertise in OSHA regulations, EPA standards, and Texas environmental laws
- Proven track record developing and implementing safety management systems
- Strong analytical skills with experience using EHS software (e.g., Intelex, Enviance)
- Exceptional communication abilities for training and stakeholder engagement
