Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with ISO 14001 and OSHA standards
- Conduct regular site audits and incident investigations to identify root causes
- Lead emergency response planning and crisis management protocols
- Manage hazardous waste disposal and air/water quality monitoring programs
- Train 500+ employees on safety procedures and environmental regulations
- Collaborate with engineering teams on sustainable facility design
- Prepare regulatory reports for EPA, TCEQ, and other governing bodies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial setting
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional) and/or CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager) certification
- Expert knowledge of EPA, OSHA, and TCEQ regulations
- Proven track record in reducing workplace incidents by 40%+
- Advanced data analysis skills using EHS software (e.g., Enablon, Intelex)
- Strong leadership experience managing cross-functional teams
