Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive EHS programs aligned with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards
- Conduct risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations to identify mitigation opportunities
- Lead emergency response planning and crisis management protocols
- Manage hazardous waste disposal, air/water permits, and sustainability initiatives
- Deliver engaging safety training and promote proactive safety behaviors
- Oversee EHS data collection, reporting, and continuous improvement processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS into operational planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years progressive EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or CHMM designation preferred
- Advanced knowledge of OSHA regulations, EPA compliance, and ISO standards
- Proven track record in developing and implementing EHS management systems
- Strong data analysis skills with experience in EHS software (e.g., Enablon, Intelex)
- Exceptional communication and leadership abilities with multi-stakeholder influence
