Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS programs aligned with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards
- Conduct regular facility audits and incident investigations to identify hazards
- Lead emergency response planning and crisis management initiatives
- Manage hazardous waste disposal and environmental permitting processes
- Deliver engaging safety training programs for 200+ employees
- Analyze EHS data to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain documentation systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years of EHS management experience in manufacturing or energy sector
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or CHMM designation required
- Expertise in OSHA VPP and EPA compliance frameworks
- Advanced proficiency in EHS software (e.g., Intelex, Enablon)
- Strong knowledge of Texas environmental regulations (TCEQ)
- Experience leading cross-functional safety committees
- OSHA 30-hour certification
