Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain EHS management systems aligned with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations
- Lead environmental compliance programs including air/water quality monitoring and waste management
- Design and deliver safety training programs for 200+ employees
- Manage hazardous materials handling and emergency response protocols
- Track EHS metrics and prepare executive-level compliance reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years progressive EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional) and/or CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager) credentials
- Expert knowledge of federal/state environmental regulations (TCEQ, EPA)
- Advanced proficiency in incident investigation and root cause analysis
- Demonstrated success implementing safety management systems
- Strong data analysis skills with EHS software experience (e.g., Enablon, Intelex)
- Excellent communication skills with ability to train all organizational levels
