Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with ISO 14001/45001 standards
- Conduct facility audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations with root cause analysis
- Lead regulatory compliance programs for OSHA, EPA, and Texas Commission on Environmental Quality
- Design and deliver safety training programs for 500+ employees across manufacturing sites
- Manage hazardous waste disposal, spill prevention, and emergency response protocols
- Analyze environmental data to reduce carbon footprint and improve sustainability metrics
- Collaborate with engineering teams on safety-by-design projects for new facilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or related field (MS preferred)
- 5+ years EHS experience in manufacturing or oil/gas industries
- Professional certifications (CSP, CHMM, or CIH) required
- Expertise in OSHA VPP, EPA RCRA, and TCEQ regulations
- Advanced proficiency in EHS software (e.g., Intelex, Enablon)
- Strong data analysis skills with environmental KPI tracking experience
- OSHA 30-hour and HAZWOPER certification
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional safety initiatives
