Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards
- Lead regulatory compliance initiatives for OSHA, EPA, and state environmental agencies
- Conduct risk assessments and audits across industrial facilities to identify hazards
- Design and deliver safety training programs for 500+ employees across multiple sites
- Manage incident investigations and root cause analysis to prevent recurrence
- Oversee waste reduction programs and sustainability reporting initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS into operational processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 10+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
- OSHA 30-hour certification and CHMM/ASP/CSP credentials
- Proven track record implementing ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 systems
- Expert knowledge of Texas environmental regulations (TCEQ) and federal standards
- Advanced proficiency in EHS software (e.g., Intelex, Cority)
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams
- Exceptional communication abilities for stakeholder engagement
