Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and audit comprehensive EHS programs aligned with federal/state regulations and industry best practices
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action plans
- Manage hazardous waste handling, air/water compliance permits, and spill response protocols
- Conduct regular safety training (HAZWOPER, confined space, PPE) and emergency drills
- Oversee workplace safety audits, ergonomic assessments, and industrial hygiene monitoring
- Collaborate with operations teams to integrate EHS into daily processes
- Prepare regulatory reports and maintain compliance documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or related field
- 10+ years progressive EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial setting
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) required
- Deep expertise in OSHA 29 CFR standards, EPA regulations, and TCEQ requirements
- Proven track record in implementing ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 systems
- Strong data analysis skills with experience in EHS software (e.g., Enablon, Intelex)
- Excellent communication skills with cross-functional leadership abilities
