Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive, multi-channel PR strategies that significantly elevate brand awareness and market authority.
- Cultivate, nurture, and leverage deep relationships with key tier-one journalists, editors, producers, and industry influencers.
- Craft highly compelling press releases, executive talking points, media pitches, and authoritative thought leadership articles.
- Lead and rapidly deploy strategic crisis communication plans to safeguard and defend brand reputation.
- Direct and mentor a high-performing internal PR team while orchestrating collaboration with external agency partners.
- Analyze, track, and present key PR performance metrics (share of voice, sentiment, reach) to C-suite stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, or a highly related field.
- 7+ years of progressive PR experience, preferably with a blend of agency and corporate in-house environments.
- An outstanding, verifiable portfolio of secured media placements in top-tier national business and lifestyle publications.
- Exceptional editorial, copyediting, and verbal communication skills with impeccable attention to detail.
- Proven crisis management experience with a calm, decisive approach under high-pressure scenarios.
- Demonstrated experience mentoring, leading, and developing junior and mid-level PR professionals.
