We are seeking a visionary Director of Guest Experience to lead our world-class concierge and guest services teams in the heart of Maui. As the cornerstone of our guest relations strategy, you will bridge the gap between operational excellence and personalized service, ensuring every visitor experiences the magic of Hawaii through a bespoke lens. You will join a prestigious team dedicated to redefining the luxury travel landscape through innovation, cultural respect, and unparalleled attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all guest-facing departments including Concierge, Front Office, and Guest Relations to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Design and implement bespoke VIP itineraries and signature guest experiences that align with the Azure Pacific brand identity.
- Monitor and analyze guest feedback via NPS and CSAT metrics to drive continuous improvement and resolve complex service issues with grace.
- Collaborate with the Executive Committee to develop annual operational budgets, forecasting, and long-term strategic plans.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team of hospitality professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and professional career growth.
- Ensure 100% compliance with Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five-Diamond service standards across all guest touchpoints.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 7 years of progressive leadership experience in a luxury (4 or 5-star) hotel or resort environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or Business Administration from an accredited institution.
- Expert proficiency in Opera Cloud or similar Property Management Systems (PMS) and guest engagement software.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to engage with high-net-worth individuals and VIP clientele.
- Strong financial acumen with a focus on labor management, P&L analysis, and operational efficiency.
- Fluency in English is required; secondary language skills in Japanese or Mandarin are highly desirable.
