Responsibilities
- Develop and implement federal cybersecurity policies aligned with NIST frameworks
- Conduct risk assessments for critical infrastructure protection programs
- Coordinate with DHS, FBI, and NSA on threat intelligence integration
- Prepare congressional briefings and compliance documentation
- Lead interagency working groups on emerging cyber threats
- Advise on public-private partnership initiatives
- Monitor legislative developments affecting cybersecurity protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or Public Policy (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years experience in government cybersecurity compliance
- Active CISSP or CISM certification
- Expertise in FISMA, NIST SP 800-53, and FedRAMP standards
- Experience with congressional reporting procedures
- Secret clearance (ability to obtain Top Secret)
- Knowledge of international cyber threat landscapes
