Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security threats across federal networks using SIEM tools
- Develop and implement advanced intrusion detection/prevention systems
- Lead incident response activities for cyber security breaches
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Collaborate with cross-agency partners on threat intelligence sharing
- Create comprehensive security documentation and compliance reports
- Train staff on cybersecurity best practices and protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise cybersecurity operations
- Industry certifications (CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+)
- Proficiency in threat detection tools (Splunk, Darktrace, etc.)
- Experience with NIST frameworks and federal compliance standards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Active TS/SCI security clearance
