Responsibilities
- Oversee daily culinary operations, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and safety.
- Lead the development and implementation of innovative new menus, seasonal specials, and culinary programs that align with market trends and brand identity.
- Manage kitchen budgets, control food costs, optimize inventory, and negotiate with suppliers to achieve favorable terms.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate culinary staff, fostering a positive and productive team environment.
- Implement and enforce strict hygiene, sanitation, and food safety protocols (HACCP, local health regulations).
- Optimize kitchen workflow, layout, and equipment utilization to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Analyze customer feedback and sales data to continuously improve menu offerings and guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, supply chain, and front-of-house, to ensure seamless operations and strategic alignment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or a related field; extensive equivalent experience will be considered.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive culinary leadership experience, with at least 3 years in a multi-unit or high-volume managerial role within the F&B industry.
- Proven track record of successful menu development, cost control, and operational efficiency improvements.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a talent for motivating and developing culinary teams.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations, culinary techniques, and industry best practices.
- Proficiency in kitchen management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by operational needs.
