Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced critical care nursing interventions for acutely ill patients in 24-bed ICU
- Monitor and interpret complex cardiac rhythms and hemodynamic parameters
- Administer specialized medications and perform emergency procedures
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Maintain precise electronic health documentation and compliance protocols
- Provide family education and emotional support during critical care episodes
Qualifications
- Active IL RN license with BSN or higher
- Minimum 2 years ICU experience with ACLS/BLS certifications
- Strong proficiency in hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management
- Excellent critical thinking and emergency response skills
- EMR experience (Epic preferred)
- Demonstrated commitment to evidence-based practice
- Ability to adapt quickly in high-pressure situations
