Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced critical care interventions including ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer complex medications and perform specialized procedures (arterial lines, central venous access)
- Document patient assessments and outcomes using Epic EMR with real-time clinical decision support
- Mentor junior staff through our structured preceptorship program
- Participate in rapid response and code blue activations
- Lead quality improvement initiatives focusing on patient safety metrics
Qualifications
- Active CA RN license with BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Minimum 2 years ICU experience in Level 1 trauma center
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; MSN preferred
- Proficiency in hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management
- Demonstrated expertise in Epic EMR documentation
- Strong critical thinking and rapid assessment skills
- Experience with continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT)
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and patient-centered care
