Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide direct clinical services including individual, group, and family therapy.
- Advocate for clients to ensure access to essential social services and healthcare resources.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including medical staff and case managers.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in strict compliance with HIPAA and agency policies.
- Participate in community outreach and educational workshops to raise mental health awareness.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
- Current, active LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) license in New York State.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical social work or a related mental health field.
- Strong knowledge of mental health disorders, trauma-informed care, and crisis intervention.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
