What You Will Do:
As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality therapeutic services and managing complex case loads in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
- Client Assessment & Treatment Planning: Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to identify patient needs and develop evidence-based, individualized treatment plans.
- Direct Clinical Services: Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing.
- Crisis Intervention: Respond to acute crises and manage emergency situations with empathy and sound clinical judgment.
- Case Management: Coordinate with healthcare providers, insurance agencies, and community resources to ensure clients receive comprehensive support services.
- Advocacy: Advocate for the rights and needs of clients within the healthcare system and the broader community.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with HIPAA and organizational standards.
- Mentorship: Collaborate with junior staff and students to foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Must possess a valid New York State LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) or LMSW (Licensed Master Social Worker) license.
- Education: Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical social work, case management, or mental health counseling.
- Specialization: Experience working with diverse populations and complex psychosocial issues is preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Empathy: A deep sense of empathy, cultural competence, and a non-judgmental approach to client care.
- Computer Proficiency: Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and case management software.
