Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide direct clinical services including individual, couples, and group therapy.
- Facilitate crisis intervention and stabilization services during acute mental health episodes.
- Collaborate with physicians, psychiatrists, and community agencies to ensure integrated care.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and HIPAA-compliant clinical documentation.
- Advocate for patients' rights and access to necessary social services and resources.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff or interns as required.
Qualifications
- Valid LCSW, LMFT, or LCSW-L license in the State of California.
- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience in behavioral health settings.
- Strong knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria and evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (EHR) and case management software.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required.
- Ability to maintain composure and professional boundaries in high-stress situations.
