Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of clinical trials from protocol development to final reporting
- Ensure strict adherence to GCP, FDA regulations, and institutional guidelines
- Manage patient recruitment, informed consent processes, and retention strategies
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, and biostatisticians
- Maintain accurate trial documentation in electronic data capture systems
- Analyze and interpret clinical data to support regulatory submissions
- Mentor junior staff and train new study coordinators
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences, nursing, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years clinical research coordination experience in an academic medical center
- Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) or equivalent certification
- Expertise in FDA regulations, ICH-GCP, and 21 CFR Part 8 compliance
- Advanced proficiency in electronic data capture systems (e.g., Medidata Rave)
- Strong analytical skills with experience in statistical data interpretation
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Proven track record of successful trial enrollment and retention
