Responsibilities
- Define and execute the overall clinical vision, strategy, and medical policies for the entire health network.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary team of medical directors, department heads, and senior clinical staff.
- Oversee healthcare quality metrics, patient safety initiatives, and compliance with all state and federal healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with operations and executive leadership to integrate cutting-edge health-tech and telemedicine solutions.
- Foster strong alignment and engagement among medical staff, driving high retention and clinical collaboration.
- Manage the clinical operations budget, optimizing resource allocation while prioritizing the highest standard of patient care.
- Serve as the primary clinical representative to the board, community partners, and regulatory agencies.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in a recognized medical specialty with an active, unrestricted Massachusetts medical license (or immediate eligibility).
- Minimum of 8 years of active clinical practice experience.
- Minimum of 5 years in a progressive medical director or healthcare executive leadership role.
- Proven expertise in healthcare compliance, HIPAA, joint commission standards, and clinical quality metrics.
- Demonstrated strategic planning capabilities with strong commercial acumen and experience managing multi-million dollar budgets.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with an innate ability to manage stakeholders and drive consensus.
