Responsibilities

  • Assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures including angioplasty, stenting, and electrophysiology studies
  • Monitor patient hemodynamics and EKG rhythms during procedures, responding immediately to changes
  • Administer conscious sedation medications and emergency interventions per protocol
  • Prepare and maintain specialized equipment (e.g., hemodynamic monitors, contrast injectors)
