As our TV Country Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the direction of our television offerings, managing relationships with key stakeholders, and driving business growth in the Malaysian market. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans for television broadcasting operations in Malaysia
- Manage and lead a team of television professionals, including content producers, technical staff, and sales teams
- Oversee all aspects of television content acquisition, production, and distribution
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including content providers, advertisers, and regulatory bodies
- Monitor industry trends and identify new opportunities for growth and innovation
- Ensure compliance with all relevant broadcasting regulations and standards
- Manage budgets and financial performance of television operations
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Media Studies, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the television broadcasting industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
- Proven track record of managing television operations and driving business growth
- Strong understanding of the Malaysian media landscape and regulatory environment
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with experience in building and developing high-performing teams
- Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in other languages is a plus
