Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and facilitate engaging daily activities for groups of children aged 6-15.
- Ensure the highest standards of camper safety and well-being at all times.
- Foster an inclusive environment that encourages participation, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
- Supervise campers during recreational activities, outings, and lunch periods.
- Resolve minor conflicts between participants using positive behavioral management techniques.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding camper progress and daily highlights.
- Assist in the setup and teardown of equipment for various camp modules.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in summer camps, youth coaching, teaching, or related recreational roles.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a patient, energetic, and professional demeanor.
- Ability to adapt to changing schedules and handle diverse groups of children.
- First Aid and CPR certification is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in English (proficiency in Malay or Mandarin is a plus).
- A passion for physical activity, sports, or creative arts.
- Ability to commit to the full duration of the summer program.
