Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Design and implement scalable microservices and distributed systems that handle high throughput and low latency.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following SOLID principles and best practices.
- Mentorship: Guide junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, technical design discussions, and career growth.
- Performance Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in the stack and implement optimizations to improve application speed and resource utilization.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and DevOps teams to deliver features that align with business goals.
- System Reliability: Ensure high availability and disaster recovery planning for critical infrastructure.
- Technology Stack: Evaluate and integrate new technologies to keep our stack modern and competitive.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a staff or senior leadership role.
- Programming Languages: Proficiency in Python, Go, Java, or Node.js.
- Frontend: Strong experience with React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Cloud & DevOps: Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Databases: Expertise in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to deconstruct complex problems into actionable technical solutions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
