Responsibilities
- Post-Production Leadership: Lead the editing process from raw footage to final delivery, ensuring high-quality output that meets strict deadlines.
- Visual Storytelling: Craft compelling narratives by selecting the best shots, pacing the story, and enhancing emotional impact through editing techniques.
- Motion Graphics & Effects: Integrate motion graphics, titles, and visual effects to elevate the visual quality of the content.
- Sound Design: Collaborate with audio engineers to mix and master soundtracks, SFX, and dialogue for a professional auditory experience.
- Client Collaboration: Present rough cuts and revisions to stakeholders, incorporating feedback to refine the final product.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure all video content aligns with brand guidelines and style guides.
- File Management: Maintain an organized library of assets and footage for easy retrieval and archival.
Qualifications
- Experience: 4+ years of professional experience in video editing, post-production, or a related creative field.
- Software Proficiency: Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Hardware: Proficiency with editing hardware, including capture cards and audio interfaces.
- Portfolio: A strong, diverse portfolio showcasing commercial, documentary, or narrative editing work.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for color correction, continuity, and technical precision.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate creative concepts.
