Responsibilities
- Storytelling & Editing: Lead the editing process from raw footage to final delivery, ensuring pacing, rhythm, and narrative flow align with the creative vision.
- Motion Graphics: Design and implement custom motion graphics, lower thirds, and visual effects using Adobe After Effects to enhance video content.
- Color Grading: Apply professional color correction and grading to ensure visual consistency and emotional impact across all video assets.
- Sound Design: Collaborate with audio engineers to edit sound effects, mix dialogue, and select music that complements the visual narrative.
- Asset Management: Organize and manage project files, ensuring efficient workflows and archiving of high-quality assets.
- Client Collaboration: Communicate effectively with clients and creative directors to understand requirements, provide creative feedback, and deliver on tight deadlines.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 4+ years of professional video editing experience, preferably in a commercial or agency setting.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve.
- Portfolio: A robust, professional portfolio showcasing a variety of styles including commercials, social media content, and motion graphics.
- Technical Skills: Deep understanding of non-linear editing, color correction, and audio mixing principles.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate creative concepts clearly.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to editing, ensuring high production value in every frame.
