Responsibilities
- Post-Production Editing: Edit raw footage into polished, engaging videos for social media, commercials, and web content using industry-standard software.
- Visual Effects & Motion Graphics: Incorporate 2D/3D motion graphics, animations, and visual effects to enhance the storytelling and brand identity.
- Color Grading: Perform professional color correction and grading to ensure consistent aesthetic quality across all deliverables.
- Audio Engineering: Sync audio, mix sound effects, and master audio levels for a cinematic experience.
- Collaboration: Work closely with producers, directors, and creative directors to understand project requirements and deliver on tight deadlines.
- Client Communication: Present rough cuts and final versions to clients, incorporating feedback and making necessary revisions efficiently.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of professional video editing experience, preferably within a creative agency or post-production house.
- Software Proficiency: Expert level in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects; proficiency in DaVinci Resolve and Final Cut Pro is a plus.
- Portfolio: A strong, diverse portfolio demonstrating a range of editing styles and technical skills is mandatory.
- Storytelling: Exceptional ability to tell stories through editing, pacing, and visual composition.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail regarding continuity, pacing, and visual fidelity.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to take constructive criticism.
