Responsibilities
- Edit raw footage into polished, engaging video content for various platforms (web, social media, broadcast).
- Collaborate closely with directors, producers, and clients to understand project scope, objectives, and deliver on creative vision.
- Apply advanced color grading, sound design, and motion graphics to enhance visual appeal and auditory experience.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines are met with high-quality deliverables.
- Oversee and mentor junior editors, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
- Implement feedback efficiently and iterate on edits to achieve desired results.
- Maintain an organized workflow, including managing media, project files, and archiving.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, tools, and techniques to continuously elevate our creative output.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Film, Media Production, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Video Editor, preferably in an agency or production house setting.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Audition).
- Demonstrable experience with professional color grading software (e.g., DaVinci Resolve).
- Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of video projects and editing styles.
- Exceptional storytelling ability with a keen eye for detail, pacing, and visual aesthetics.
- Proven ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines under pressure.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive and positive attitude.
- Experience with various camera formats and codecs, and efficient media management practices.
