Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design process, from initial research and wireframing to high-fidelity prototyping.
- Conduct user interviews and usability testing to validate design hypotheses and identify pain points.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define feature requirements and ensure high-quality technical implementation.
- Maintain and evolve our design system to ensure consistency across all product touchpoints.
- Translate complex data and workflows into intuitive, accessible user interfaces.
- Mentor junior designers and participate in creative critique sessions to elevate our collective output.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and design technologies to introduce innovation into our product roadmap.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design for web and mobile applications.
- A robust portfolio demonstrating deep problem-solving skills and a sophisticated design aesthetic.
- Expert-level proficiency in Figma, Protopie, and modern prototyping tools.
- Strong understanding of WCAG accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
- Proven ability to bridge the gap between user needs and business requirements.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate design decisions to non-design stakeholders.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment with cross-functional teams.
