- Manage federal, state, and international tax compliance for 50+ clients
- Develop innovative tax savings strategies utilizing advanced planning techniques
- Lead IRS audits and represent clients before tax authorities
- Mentor junior tax professionals through structured training programs
- Analyze M&A transactions for tax implications and integration opportunities
- Prepare and review complex tax returns and supporting documentation
- Stay current on evolving tax legislation and regulatory changes
Qualifications
- CPA license required (NY State)
- 8+ years progressive tax experience in public accounting or corporate tax
- Expertise in international tax, transfer pricing, and state tax compliance
- Proficiency with tax software (ProSystem fx, Lacerte, or OnePoint)
- JD degree or LLM in Taxation preferred
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proven track record of leading tax engagements
- Excellent communication and client management abilities
