Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end tax compliance processes for multinational corporations, including federal, state, and international filings
- Develop and implement strategic tax planning initiatives to optimize client tax positions and minimize liabilities
- Manage tax audits, inquiries, and disputes with regulatory authorities (IRS, state tax agencies)
- Provide M&A tax due diligence and integration support for complex transactions
- Design and deliver tax technology solutions using ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle) and specialized tax software
- Mentor junior tax professionals and conduct departmental training on emerging tax regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate tax considerations into financial planning and reporting
Qualifications
- CPA certification and Master's degree in Taxation or equivalent professional designation
- Minimum 7 years of progressive tax experience in public accounting or corporate tax department
- Expertise in international tax, transfer pricing, and state & local tax compliance
- Proficiency in tax technology platforms (CCH, Wolters Kluwer, Vertex) and ERP systems
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex tax regulations and financial data
- Proven track record of managing high-value client relationships and tax projects
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present technical concepts to non-experts
- Active membership in AICPA and state bar association preferred
