Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive tax strategies for corporate clients
- Lead multi-state and international compliance initiatives
- Manage IRS audits and state tax controversies
- Mentor junior tax professionals and conduct training sessions
- Utilize tax software (ProSystem fx, CCH) for efficient workflow
- Collaborate with CFOs on M&A transaction structuring
- Stay current on tax law changes (TCJA, SECURE Act)
Qualifications
- CPA license required (NY State)
- 8+ years progressive tax experience in public accounting
- Master's degree in Taxation or equivalent
- Expertise in corporate tax, SALT, and international taxation
- Proven track record leading tax audits
- Advanced proficiency in tax automation tools
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
