Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end corporate tax compliance and reporting for a diverse multi-state client portfolio.
- Develop and implement sophisticated tax-saving strategies aligned with global business objectives.
- Act as the primary point of contact for tax audits and regulatory inquiries.
- Mentor and lead a team of senior associates and analysts, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
- Monitor legislative changes and provide proactive guidance on potential tax impacts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional finance teams to ensure accuracy in tax provision and forecasting.
- Lead special projects including M&A tax due diligence and international tax structuring.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master’s in Taxation (MST) preferred.
- CPA designation is strictly required.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in corporate tax within a public accounting firm or large multinational company.
- Deep expertise in US Federal, State, and Local (SALT) taxation laws.
- Demonstrated experience in tax technology and automation tools (e.g., Alteryx, ONESOURCE).
- Exceptional leadership skills with a proven track record of managing high-stakes projects.
- Strong communication skills, capable of translating complex tax concepts for non-tax stakeholders.
