Responsibilities
- Oversee federal, state, and international tax compliance for multinational corporations
- Develop innovative tax strategies to minimize liabilities and maximize ROI
- Lead audit defense initiatives and represent clients before tax authorities
- Mentor team of 5+ tax professionals through performance reviews and skill development
- Analyze M&A transactions for tax implications and structuring opportunities
- Stay current on evolving tax legislation and regulatory changes
- Collaborate with CFOs to integrate tax strategy into corporate planning
Qualifications
- CPA certification required with MST or LL.M. preferred
- 8+ years' experience in Big 4 or corporate tax leadership
- Deep expertise in ASC 740, FIN 48, and international tax frameworks
- Proven success managing tax technology implementations (e.g., Vertex, ONESOURCE)
- Exceptional communication skills for client C-suite presentations
- JD degree or advanced tax certification preferred
- Experience managing tax teams of 10+ professionals
