Responsibilities
- Develop and implement multi-jurisdictional tax strategies for corporate clients
- Lead IRS/state tax audits and represent clients before tax authorities
- Manage cross-functional teams on M&A tax planning projects
- Advise on international tax compliance and transfer pricing
- Optimize tax positions through innovative restructuring solutions
- Mentor junior tax professionals and drive team development
Qualifications
- CPA license with 8+ years of Big 4 or public accounting experience
- Advanced degree in Taxation or JD/MST preferred
- Deep expertise in federal/state tax code and IRS procedures
- Proven success in managing complex tax audits and disputes
- Strong proficiency in tax software (Vertex, OnePoint, etc.)
- Exceptional communication and client relationship skills
