- Manage IRS/state tax audits and represent clients before tax authorities
- Lead M&A tax due diligence and restructuring initiatives
- Mentor junior tax professionals and supervise team workflows
- Develop proprietary tax technology solutions to enhance client deliverables
- Monitor global tax legislation changes and advise on compliance implications
- Present complex tax strategies to C-suite executives and boards
Qualifications
- CPA license with 8+ years of progressive tax experience
- Master's degree in Taxation, Accounting, or JD with tax specialization
- Expertise in international tax, transfer pricing, and state tax nexus
- Proven experience managing tax audits and controversy resolution
- Advanced proficiency in tax software (ProSystem fx, CCH, or OnePoint)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex concepts to stakeholders
- Track record of leading high-performing tax teams
