Responsibilities
- Oversee federal, state, and international tax compliance for high-net-worth clients
- Lead tax due diligence for M&A transactions up to $500M
- Develop strategic tax optimization plans minimizing liability while ensuring regulatory adherence
- Manage cross-functional teams of tax specialists and external auditors
- Advise clients on tax implications of digital transformation initiatives
- Represent clients in IRS examinations and state tax authority negotiations
- Drive adoption of AI-powered tax analytics platforms
Qualifications
- CPA certification + 8+ years of progressive tax experience
- Master's degree in Taxation, Accounting, or Finance
- Proven expertise in international tax law (transfer pricing, BEPS)
- Advanced proficiency in tax software (ProSystem fx, Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE)
- Experience managing tax technology transformation projects
- Strong track record in tax controversy resolution
- Exceptional communication skills for executive-level client presentations
