Your Core Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive tax strategies for a diverse portfolio of corporate and high-net-worth individual clients.
- Prepare and review complex federal, state, and local tax returns with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Conduct in-depth tax research to interpret changing tax laws and advise clients on mitigation strategies.
- Lead the annual audit process and serve as the primary liaison between the firm and external auditors.
- Mentor and train junior staff and associates, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Manage client relationships, ensuring high satisfaction and retention through exceptional service.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting or corporate tax preparation.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Enrolled Agent (EA), or CFP certification is required.
- Proficient in industry-standard tax software (e.g., ProSystem fx, UltraTax, Drake) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and complex financial reporting standards.
- Exceptional analytical abilities and a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client presentations.
