Responsibilities

- Define and implement enterprise-wide standards for system security, data integrity, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with agency stakeholders to translate complex policy requirements into actionable technical roadmaps.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and conduct proof-of-concept deployments to improve operational efficiency.
- Provide technical mentorship to cross-functional engineering teams during complex integration phases.
- Ensure systems architecture supports high-availability requirements and adheres to federal cybersecurity mandates.
- Lead architectural reviews and security audits to mitigate risks in legacy systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in systems architecture, cloud infrastructure, or enterprise IT.
- Deep expertise in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, with relevant professional certifications.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale system transitions within the public sector or highly regulated industries.
- Strong understanding of NIST frameworks, FISMA compliance, and zero-trust security architectures.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate technical strategies to non-technical stakeholders.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen eligible to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance.
