Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end subsea system design, including flow assurance, control systems, and umbilical engineering
- Conduct FECA/FMECA analysis for subsea hardware reliability in harsh environments
- Collaborate with drilling and reservoir teams to optimize field development plans
- Manage third-party engineering contractors and ensure compliance with API 17D/17G standards
- Mentor junior engineers through technical reviews and knowledge transfer sessions
- Develop innovative solutions for subsea intervention and production optimization challenges
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Offshore/Civil Engineering (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of subsea systems engineering experience in deepwater projects
- Proficiency in SACS, OrcaFlex, and ANSYS simulation tools
- API 17D/17G certification or equivalent industry credentials
- Demonstrated success in managing subsea hardware procurement and installation
- Strong understanding of HSE protocols for offshore operations
- Ability to travel internationally for field support and site surveys
