Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive multi-year sourcing strategies to optimize category spend across global business units.
- Lead high-stakes negotiations with tier-1 suppliers to secure industry-leading pricing, favorable terms, and robust service level agreements.
- Manage the end-to-end RFP/RFQ process, utilizing e-sourcing tools to ensure transparency and competitive vendor selection.
- Monitor and analyze global market trends, commodity pricing, and geopolitical risks to proactively adjust procurement tactics.
- Partner with Finance and Operations teams to align purchasing objectives with corporate financial targets and operational requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement lifecycle to enhance efficiency and reduce lead times.
- Oversee supplier performance management programs to ensure compliance with quality, delivery, and ethical standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Engineering; MBA or Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in strategic purchasing or global procurement.
- Demonstrated success in delivering multi-million dollar cost reductions and value-add improvements.
- Advanced proficiency in SAP Ariba, Oracle Cloud Procurement, or equivalent enterprise ERP systems.
- Professional certification (e.g., CPSM, MCIPS, or CSCP) is highly desirable.
- Exceptional analytical and financial acumen with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Superior communication skills with a proven ability to influence executive-level stakeholders.
