Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
- Perform complex balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis to ensure ledger accuracy.
- Support the annual audit process by preparing detailed workpapers and liaising with external auditors.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable workflows to ensure strict compliance with internal controls.
- Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements and management reports.
- Identify and implement automation strategies to streamline departmental financial reporting.
- Ensure full adherence to GAAP standards and local tax regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- 4+ years of professional accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or public accounting environment.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle) and MS Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables).
- Deep understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting principles.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
- Strong analytical mindset with a passion for process improvement and data integrity.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
