Responsibilities
- Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing procedures accurately and on schedule.
- Prepare complex journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations for multiple entities.
- Assist in the preparation of internal and external financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Drive continuous improvement in accounting workflows and internal control processes.
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax professionals to ensure compliance.
- Analyze variance reports and provide actionable insights to management.
- Oversee fixed asset accounting and depreciation schedules.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in general ledger accounting.
- Expert-level proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros).
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven, fast-paced professional environment.
