Responsibilities
- Oversee the month-end close process, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Analyze complex financial statements and variance reports to identify trends and cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure accurate accruals and expense tracking.
- Assist in the preparation of internal and external audit documentation and regulatory compliance filings.
- Manage accounts payable/receivable workflows and optimize treasury operations.
- Support the Controller with annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial modeling.
- Mentor junior accounting staff and promote a culture of operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or public audit.
- Active CPA license or significant progress toward certification is highly preferred.
- Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Advanced hands-on experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or Sage Intacct.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of integrity regarding financial data.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical findings to non-financial stakeholders.
