Responsibilities
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Perform complex account reconciliations and variance analysis to identify financial discrepancies.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable workflows, ensuring strict adherence to internal controls.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial planning models.
- Collaborate with external auditors to provide necessary documentation and ensure GAAP compliance.
- Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes through automation and system integration.
- Prepare comprehensive financial statements and management reports for senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or CPA candidate preferred.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in corporate accounting or public audit.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- In-depth knowledge of GAAP and regulatory accounting standards.
- Strong analytical mindset with a proven ability to solve complex financial puzzles.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate data-driven insights to stakeholders.
